Mukteshwar, a famous pilgrimage and tourist destination in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. Perched at the height of 2286 meters amidst the famous Kumaon Hills and in the midst of the Garhwal Mountains. It is 51 kilometers from Nainital, 72 km from Haldwani, and 343 km from Delhi. Mukteshwar name is derived from the 350 year old Lord Shiva’s temple Mukteshwar Dham which is the famous tourist attraction .This temple carries its own religious and cultural significance.
